Advice for IOP
If family members want their loved one to have spending money while in treatment, they can put money into an account for them at the center. This is known as Money on Books or M.O.B. Each week, a prepaid $50 debit card will be given to clients to purchase necessities. This protects both the facility and the client. It is not permitted for clients to have cash on them at any time. Clients will get to go to convenience stores during the week to buy cigarettes, drinks, and snacks. They will be escorted to larger stores like Target and Walmart on the weekends in order to purchase items that were forgotten while packing. For IOP clients, please do not plan to bring any bicycles with you.
